About me

I am a California-based Iranian-American Artist and Coach certified in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy and Spiritual Psychology.

My 1:1 coaching sessions and group workshops incorporate mindfulness, guided meditation, creative expression, inner child work, embodiment practices, somatic techniques, and deep emotional processing.

My coaching practice is integrative by nature — facilitating gentle, long-term healing on the level of the mind, body, and spirit.

Areas of Focus

My coaching certifications include Spiritual Psychology (formerly Soul Care) and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy. I am currently completing an additional certification centered around grief support.

Somatic

Somatic healing is an integral part of my practice. While most healing is done solely on the level of the mind, Somatic (Soma = Body) approaches focus on where trauma and emotion are held in the body. Memories and current feelings are then processed and healed through a wide array of somatic techniques.

Spiritual

My training in Spiritual Psychology (formerly Soul Care) emphasizes the value in connecting to our innate worthiness as Beings, beyond our mind and physical body.

Connecting to Spirit can be as simple (yet profound) as learning to find acceptance and surrender amidst life’s hardships, and does not require a previously established spiritual belief or practice.

Mind[ful]

Mindfulness plays a key role in unifying the mind, body, and spirit in healing and growing towards a more peaceful, connected, and vibrant state of being.

Sessions with me will always incorporate mindful observation when reflecting on thoughts, internal experiences, and emotions. Through mindfulness we can let go of control and allow ourselves to simply notice both our inner and external experience.

Integration

I believe that growth and healing are most effective when focused on the body, mind, and spirit. That’s why my sessions utilize a holistic approach that works with all areas of the Self in order to facilitate true, long-term growth.

Coaching Philosophy

Presence

Individuals working one-on-one with me can expect a deep-dive into the emotional realm, cultivating healing through self-compassion and self-exploration. By practicing presence in the here-and-now, healing of past experiences and envisioning the future become more accessible.

Personal Wisdom

My practice draws from many sources beyond my trainings, but my greatest offering of all is the wisdom and resilience gained through my own life experience and path of personal growth.

With these experiences under my belt, I brings a perspective of true understanding and fearlessness around many struggles commonly deemed “too dark” to discuss.

In essence, I hold space for the client in their wholeness — believing that holding space for both the dark and light to coexist at once can provide the nourishment needed to transform from a wilted flower into a beautifully vibrant bloom.

Adaptability

Each session is intuitively guided, allowing fluid adaptability to the specific needs of the client in each particular moment. This flexible approach creates space for me to incorporate any modalities or tools I feel the client may need, utilizing only essential amounts of structure, without sticking to a rigid formula.

The path towards growth and healing can be as gentle or as rigorous as each client’s specific needs require, and I make sure to cater to each client’s level of comfort with flexibility and kind-hearted understanding. Demonstrating deep listening and genuine empathy, I create a client-coach relationship that feels safe and nurturing.

Artwork

Creativity is an essential way to connect to all parts of the Self, and therefore can play a crucial role in the healing process. My own personal development has only been possible through a consistent and ever-growing creative path.

When I’m not coaching clients or hosting workshops, I work as an artist of many mediums — painting, printmaking, drawing, creative design, photography, ceramics, embroidery, and writing.

My work is both conceptual and aesthetic, with each piece and series falling somewhere on the spectrum between visual and experiential.

I draw inspiration for both creative and coaching work from music, nature, and the space where the raw human experience meets the infinite spiritual self.
